s a GPS tracking and fleet management software module for Windows devices. Products that run Windows include netbooks, laptops,
field terminals, pocket PCs, PDA's, and
Smartp  hones.
It
negates the need to install a separate GPS tracking box in a vehicle,
instead uses
the existing (GPS enabled) Windows device, which sends the GPS location data
over the Windows
devices cellular or WiFi network to the customer chooses IP or the CES
tracking software.
Developed by CES, this
device independent software module provides any GPS enabled Windows device with Location Tracking and other unique Fleet Management features.

is FREE with a subscription to the FleetLinc GPS
Tracking Web Service.

operates on Windows
Mobile 6.0 and is a full featured
version compatible with FleetLinc and POWER-trak Professional
PC/Desktop/Server GPS Tracking, Security and Management Software. In
addition it is also compatible with the CES Fleet-Control API to
integrate the solution to non-CES software systems.

operates on Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7
and is a full featured
version compatible with FleetLinc and POWER-trak Professional
PC/Desktop/Server GPS Tracking, Security and Management Software.
In addition is is compatible with the

You can deploy mobi on any “device”

Windows Mobile: There are many Windows Mobile
devices on the market, some are simple smartphones, others designed
for vertical markets. There are many different manufacturers and brands on
the market, it is up you, or the customer to decide which model best meets
your needs. In most instances the customer will be using these ‘devices’ for
other tasks and purposes, like dispatching service calls etc.

police or handheld computer devices by field service personnel. There are
many different manufacturers and brands on the market, it is up you, or the
customer to decide which model best meets your needs.

For the purposes of GPS tracking, the
“device” must have GPS internally, or we supply an external GPS
receiver/antenna that plugs into the USB port. The ‘device” must also have some form of wireless connectivity.
Typically this is a plug in aircard or Wifi. Which wireless network you use
is dictated by the wireless services available in your area, mobi
does not care, it will send the data over whatever service the laptop or
field device supports.
There are several ways to make a
computer or field device wireless; including using a USB wireless
adapter, a PCI/PCMCIA,
ExpressCard
card with an antenna or also
called an Aircard.
A wireless card is a
modem that provides online
access using wireless technology. The wireless card form factor is made to
slip into the
ExpressCard or
PC Card slot of a laptop
computer or field device.
Cellular carriers provide Internet access to subscribing customers,
requiring either a monthly plan for unlimited airtime or a pay-as-you go
account.
If you do not wish to use a cellular
carrier, and the device has Wifi, mobi will collect the GPS
data and send it over a WiFi network when it comes back into contact with
the WiFi network.

cost background software module running on your/customers server that
provides bi-directional integration of the solution to non-CES software
systems, e.g. 911, CAD etc, or. It has no user screens. This module provides
a TCP/IP connection to your own software with a simple data protocol used.
It supports ALL CES subscriber devices in one protocol, negating the need to
develop an interface to separate devices. L
